The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that Russians have become targets of scams involving fake money transfers—victims receive funds “accidentally” on their cards and are then asked to return them. Upon receiving the transfer, blackmail begins with accusations of donating to terrorists, and they demand even more money to settle the matter.
